Jeremy is an artist specialising in landscape and townscape work, for the most part in and around London. He is also a keen cyclist, and many of his works have been loosely derived from sketches and snapshots taken while out and about on his bike. Last year, 2020, he undertook a series of "lockdown London" paintings, sketched while cycling through the traffic-free centre of town.
He has exhibited at the Candid Arts festival in Islington; and in spring 2018 had his first one-man exhibition – in France! His exhibition was shown over the course of the ski season, in his favourite ski resort of Risoul, and featured many of his favourite views and panoramas. He got quite used to painting snow.
Jeremy is a member of the Crouch End Open Studios group, and exhibited very successfully as part of the 2019 Crouch End Art Trail. Together with some of the other CEOS artists, he also took part in the "Random IV" exhibition in November 2019. He has also undertaken a number of private commissions, of local scenes and buildings.
Jeremy is participating in the "Artist Support Pledge", which includes all paintings indicated for sale up to £200. Once sales of £1000 have been achieved, the artist pledges to buy a work from another artist within the scheme. Prints are also available on request for all paintings, apart from commissioned works; and all prints are included with the Artist Support Pledge scheme.
